The 11th Annual Rebel Challenge was held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at South Habersham Middle School. Over 180 students attended this annual event. The Rebel Challenge is a series of obstacles that students must navigate to reach the finish line. Throughout the challenge, students encourage and push each other forward to complete the course. Some of this year’s obstacles included the slip-and-slide, hay bale climb, tire flip, football throw, dizzy bat, trail run, water slide, and mud pit crawl. Pictured are SHMS eighth grade students Logan Canada and Trent Lacey working their way through the mud pit crawl which is the final obstacle of the challenge. Thank you to all of the faculty, staff, and volunteers who made this event possible. Thank you to Jacky Addison, Cordero Davis, NGAP Graphix, Stanley London, Jeff Parker, and the Habersham County Fire Department for your support as well. We also appreciate the support of all of the parents and families who came out to watch our students participate in this event. The students of SHMS appreciate you and the memories you helped them create!
