Congratulations to South Habersham Middle School technology teacher Connie Harvey. She was selected to receive a $1000 STEAM Grant from Habersham EMC. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Ms. Harvey submitted a STEAM project idea that will allow her sixth grade technology students to design and build a model of a park that runs on sustainable energy. Her project design was chosen and will now be funded by this grant. We are so excited that our students will have this amazing opportunity and appreciate Habersham EMC’s support of our technology and engineering program.
